God the Father

God is the creator of all things, seen and unseen. God is called by many different names because of the different dimensions of His personality, but God is one. God is eternal and honestly good, knowing all things and holding all power and majesty. He is unconditionally loving, relentlessly merciful, and absolutely just. God exists as the Trinity. He is three persons, yet One: God the Father, Jesus the Christ, and the Holy Spirit. He seeks to love and to be loved by us in a living relationship.

Jesus the Christ

God displayed himself in human form through His Son, Jesus the Christ. Jesus was born of the virgin, Mary, and lived a sinless life. Displaying His commitment to God and us, He died on the cross for our sins. Jesus was then buried, resurrected from the dead, and ascended into heaven. There, He intercedes and represents us before God the Father, as we await His return which will complete His work and establish the Kingdom of God fully in the new heavens and earth.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is sent from God to live inside all who believe in Jesus Christ. Exemplifying community, the Holy Spirit gives each follower diverse gifts, fostering unity, interdependence, productivity, Christ-like character and love among Christians. The Holy Spirit also teaches, comforts and empowers us. The fruits of the Spirit are the by-product of a spirit-filled life and evidence of spiritual maturity. The gifts of the Spirit should be earnestly sought and used to serve others and glorify God.

The Holy Scriptures

We believe God speaks to us through the Holy Scriptures. The Bible is our source of divine inspiration and timeless wisdom. The Bible is our standard in all we say and do. We believe that God’s unchangeable Biblical message should be presented in a relevant way portraying an eternal hope to people through a living God. It’s our desire that this message is free of religious jargon and understandable to our community.
