Today’s contemporary worship sound is built on more than just good musicianship — it’s about crafting the right tones, playing tight with a click, and knowing how to use multitracks effectively to support the flow of worship.

This workshop is designed for full worship bands — guitarists, keyboardists, bass players, drummers, and techs — who want to grow in musical excellence and confidence while learning to lead worship with modern tools and sounds.

We’ll explore:

Instrumental Tone & Texture

  • Dialing in great tones for electric, acoustic, bass, and keys
  • Building dynamic layers and knowing when not to play
  • Gear talk: pedals, amp modeling, synth pads, and patches
  • Playing with intentionality to serve the song, not overwhelm it

Playing with a Click Track

  • Why the click is your best friend, not your enemy
  • How to lock in as a band and stay in sync
  • Tips for practicing and building confidence with the click

Using Multitracks & Stems

  • What they are and how they enhance your sound
  • Working with platforms like Playback, Prime, or Ableton
  • Blending live instruments with tracks without losing authenticity
  • Tips for rehearsing with tracks and building setlists

This workshop will include live demonstrations, hands-on practice, and Q&A. Whether you’re just getting started with tracks or want to refine your setup, you’ll leave with tools to bring clarity, confidence, and cohesion to your worship sound.
