Church Picnic & Baptism
Join us on Sunday, August 2, at 10:00 AM at the Journay's House for a special day of worship, baptism, and celebration as we gather together as a church family.
Baptism is a beautiful outward expression of an inward commitment to follow Jesus. It is a public declaration of faith, a celebration of new life in Christ, and a reminder of the hope we have through Him. As individuals step into the waters of baptism, we have the opportunity to celebrate the stories God is writing in their lives and stand alongside them as they take this step of faith.
This gathering will also be a special opportunity for our church family to come together around the table—the Jesus way. Throughout Scripture, we see Jesus gather people around a table: sharing meals, creating belonging, and making room for everyone. Following the baptism service, we will celebrate that same spirit of fellowship by sharing a potluck-style meal together. We invite everyone to bring a dish to share and, if you have one, a lawn chair for the day.
Looking For A Way To Serve?
- Bring a dish to share: Help us create a welcoming table as we enjoy a potluck-style meal together.
- Lend a 10x10 pop-up tent: Help provide a covered space for our worship team as they lead us in worship.
- Help with grilling: Help by grilling provided burgers and hot dogs at home and returning them to the church by August 1.
